Douglas Wilder Funeral Douglas Wilder, retired Assistant Chief passed away on October 17th, 2010. Doug served in the Marine Corps and then spent 36 years with the Denver Fire Department. The funeral was held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Denver on October 23rd, 2010, and the procession was followed to the Mount Olivet Cemetery in Wheat Ridge.
