Station 3 Pancake Breakfast Poudre Fire Authority with the local Lions Club hosted a benefit pancake breakfast on September 17th, 2016 at Station 3, 2000 Matthews St. in Fort Collins. Proceeds go to PFA’s nonprofit Life Safety Education Fund, from which money is used to buy life-saving devices, such as smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, as well as other educational materials.

NATRT Q3 Training The North Area Technical Rescue Team held their annual 3rd quarter training at Rocky Mountain Prestress, 5801 Pecos St. on September 12th, 15th and 16th, 2016. The training, hosted by Adams County Fire Rescue, focused on structural collapse. 9-11 Memorial Stair Climb 2016 The Annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb was held at the Ameristar Casino in Black Hawk on September 11th, 2016, climbing the stairs four times to honor those who were lost on September 11th, 2001. A full house packed the venue as firefighters from around the Front Range strutted up and down the catwalk promoting the latest beefcake style Colorado calendar. Proceeds from the sale of calendars benefit the Children’s Hospital Colorado Burn Center.
