Pleasant View House Fire

At 15:42 on April 13th, 2016 Pleasant View Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire in the 13900 block of W. 6th Pl. in East Pleasant View. 911 caller reporting 2 foot flames showing in the bathroom on the 2nd floor. Chief 41 arrived to a 2-story single-family residence with light smoke showing. Engine 41 laid in a dry supply line from W. 7th Ave. & Eldrige St. and pulled a line in for fast attack. Battalion 21 reported smoke showing from the Charlie side 2nd story window, Engine 6 assigned to check the attic for extension and Engine 33 to secure the utilities. Crews were able to get the fire out quickly and under control with no extension at 16:03.
