On November 19th, 2022 26 firefighters graduated from the Front Range Fire Consortium academy during a ceremony at the Foundations Church in Loveland. FRFC is composed of many career agencies in Northern Colorado. These firefighters from class 2022-2 will go on from here to make their home agencies proud while serving their communities. Front Range Fire Consortium (FRFC) is made up of these member departments: Boulder Fire-Rescue Department, Central Valley Fire Protection District (Montana), Cheyenne Fire Rescue (Wyoming), Greeley Fire Department, Front Range Fire Rescue, Laramie Fire Department (Wyoming), Longmont Fire Department, Loveland Fire Rescue Authority, Mountain View Fire Rescue, Platte Valley Fire Protection District, Poudre Fire Authority, Wellington Fire Protection District and Windsor-Severance Fire Rescue. The FRFC offers its membership two recruit fire academies a year, one in the spring, and one in the fall. The recruit academy is a 15-week, 800-hour course of mostly hands on skills training.
