The Front Range Fire Consortium (FRFC) Academy 2024-2 completed their first live fire evolutions on November 1st, 2024 at the Platte Valley Fire Training Facility. The instructional cadre led the recruits though forcible entry, fire attack, search, ventilation, and water supply operations.
The FRFC is made up of the twelve Northern Colorado Fire Agencies: Berthoud Fire Protection District, Boulder Fire-Rescue Department, Boulder Rural Fire Rescue, Front Range Fire Rescue, Greeley Fire Department, Lafayette Fire Department, Longmont Fire Department, Louisville Fire Protection District, Loveland Fire Rescue Authority, Mountain View Fire Rescue, Platte Valley Fire Protection District & Windsor-Severance Fire Rescue.
