Multi-Agency Wildfire Training

On May 11th, 2024 a multi-agency wildfire training event was held in the Genesee Mountain Park and Upper Cold Springs Ranch area in Jefferson County hosted by Foothills Fire Protection District. 13 agencies, with 82 personnel and 33 apparatus participated with several training stations that included structure triage with forecasting fire behavior, digging lines, water supply, helicopter landing, communications and more.
