Polar Plunge 2008 The Inaugural Special Olympics Colorado Polar Plunge “Freezin’ for a Reason” was held on November 15th, 2008 with 209 plungers that came out to brave the cold temperatures at Chatfield Reservoir in Littleton. 28 teams of plungers including 12 law enforcement agencies.
