Conifer Fire Protection District is a consolidation into one unified district in 2025 of North Fork Fire Protection District and Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District.
Conifer Fire Protection District is part of the 285 corridor fire departments and has an auto-aid / or mutual-aid agreements with Elk Creek Fire Protection District, Evergreen Fire Protection District, Indian Hills Fire Protection District, Mountain Communities Volunteer Fire Department, Platte Canyon Fire Protection District, West Douglas County Fire Protection District and West Metro Fire Rescue.
