Conifer Fire Protection District is a consolidation into one unified district in 2025 of Elk Creek Fire Protection District, North Fork Fire Protection District and Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District

Conifer Fire Protection District is part of the 285 corridor fire departments and has an auto-aid / or mutual-aid agreements with Evergreen Fire Protection District, Indian Hills Fire Protection District, Mountain Communities Volunteer Fire Department, Platte Canyon Fire Protection DistrictWest Douglas County Fire Protection District and West Metro Fire Rescue.

Conifer Fire Protection District is also known as the Conifer Fire District and Conifer Fire Department.
