Foothills Structure Fire

On September 8th, 2022 at approximately 17:53 Foothills Fire Protection District, Evergreen Fire Protection District with Highland Rescue Team Ambulance District responded to a structure fire in the 2900 block of Summit Ranch Drive in Jefferson County. Jeffcom advised that a grill was on fire that has extended to the home. 502 arrived to a two-story large single-family residential structure with a working fire and flames from the roof. Engine 536 arrived on scene and started fire attack and Engine 132 pulled a line to the Charlie side. Tender 563 arrived and started water supply. Command requested defensive operations due to partial collapse of the garage. Crews worked the fire for several hours before getting it under control. No reported injuries. Golden Fire Department was put on auto-aid for any district calls in the Foothills Fire district.
