Sloans Lake Dog Rescue On January 13th, 2017 Denver Fire Department responded to dog that was stuck on an island in the middle of Sloans Lake. Crews arrived and attempted to rescue the dog but ran off the island, but crews were able to rescue the beagle safety and with no injuries.
