Fire Prevention Week 2019

The Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control hosted the Fire Prevention Week campaign “Not Every Hero Wears a Cape. Plan and Practice Your Escape!” in Lincoln Memorial Park in front of the Colorado State Capitol Building on October 11th, 2019. The public came out to learn about Fire Prevention Week, with displays that included a several fire engines on display, side by side burn demonstration, use of drones in fire prevention and inspections, informational booths from various Colorado fire safety professionals including Arvada Fire Protection District, Colorado State Forest Service, Colorado State Patrol, Denver Fire Department, United States Department of Justice – (ATF) Response Team, DFPC, Elbert Fire Protection District, Evergreen Fire Protection District, Fort Lupton Fire Protection District, Livermore Fire Protection District, Mountain View Fire Rescue, Red, White & Blue Fire Protection District, West Metro Fire Rescue and others participated in the event.
